Google is Giving Us Art!
I could not love Google more than I do in this very moment.
I’m kind of totally buggened that I’ve only just been made aware of it - but better late than never.
Google Arts & Culture has worked with about 2500 galleries and museums globally to make their exhibitions and installation accessible virtually. We’re talking MoMA, Musée d’Orsay, Van Gogh Museum, the freakin’ Acropolis in Athens and my beloved Kunsthuas Zürich. Each piece is laid out with multiple paragraph description as if you’re walking around the museum yourself with the headphones on.
This is really so wonderful, I don’t even have much more to say as we should all be looking at Degas ballerinas rehearsing at the Paris Opera House instead.
